At KleMUN, we believe that academic conferences are about more than just formal debate; they are about building community and making lifelong connections. To make our conference as accessible and welcoming as possible, we coordinate a student-backed hosting network affectionately known as "Bed-Surfing."
How it works: Instead of booking a hotel room, you stay directly with a friendly student/ delegate from Rhine-Waal University. To show our appreciation, international participants pay a small flat fee of €50 for the entire 3-day weekend through us. We act as your coordinators, transfer this contribution directly to your local host, and connect you and as a thank-you for their hospitality!
Why choose it: It is a fraction of the cost of a hotel, a fantastic way to experience student life in Kleve firsthand, and places you right in the heart of our local network.
Independent Stays
Independent Stays
If you prefer the privacy and comfort of your own room or are traveling with your friends, Kleve and its surrounding areas offer several great accommodation options.
Please note that Kleve and its surrounding neighborhoods feature a high number of private holiday apartments (Ferienwohnungen) rather than massive commercial hotel chains. Because availability can be limited during conference season, we strongly recommend booking early or teaming up with fellow delegates/friends to share an apartment and split the costs!
