Travelling to Kleve

Getting to Kleve is easier than it might seem. Whether you are travelling from Düsseldorf, the Netherlands, or arriving by plane, there are several ways to reach the city.

By Train

From Düsseldorf & Krefeld: RE10

The RE10 is the easiest option for participants travelling from Düsseldorf or along the route.

The RE10 runs directly to Kleve, with stops including Düsseldorf, Krefeld, and Kleve. You can simply stay on the train until the final stop, Kleve.

Route: Düsseldorf → Krefeld → Kleve

This is the most straightforward option as no change is required.

From Düsseldorf or Arnhem: RE19 + Bus

Another option is the RE19, which connects Düsseldorf and Arnhem and stops in Emmerich.

Get off at Emmerich, then take the SB58 bus from Emmerich to Kleve.

Route: Düsseldorf / Arnhem → Emmerich → SB58 → Kleve

The journey from Emmerich to Kleve by SB58 is short, making this a convenient alternative to the RE10.

From Nijmegen: SB58

For participants travelling from the Netherlands, you can also take the SB58 directly from Nijmegen to Kleve.

Route: Nijmegen → SB58 → Kleve

This can be a particularly convenient option for participants coming from Nijmegen or nearby Dutch cities.

Flying to Weeze Airport

If you are flying into Weeze Airport (NRN), you can reach Kleve by public transport.

From the airport, take the SW1 bus to Weeze train station. From Weeze station, take the RE10 towards Kleve.

Route: Weeze Airport → SW1 → Weeze → RE10 → Kleve

Travelling by Car: BlaBlaCar

If you prefer travelling by car, BlaBlaCar is another option.

BlaBlaCar is a carpooling platform where drivers can offer empty seats in their cars to passengers travelling in the same direction. Participants can search for available rides from their city or nearby cities to Kleve.

However, please keep in mind that a ride to Kleve is not guaranteed. Availability depends entirely on whether a driver is offering a suitable trip on your travel date, so we recommend checking the platform in advance and having a public transport option as a backup.
